Toy Prototype: We first made a prototype from Super Sculpty III that was taken and used to make a silicon mold using Smooth-On. From there a 2 part plastic compound was poured into the molds and the prototypes were made. These in turn were sent to the factory that studied them and converted them to 3-D CAD, which was laser cut into a steel tool. The tools are then set up on an assembly line, which they are then injected with liquid plastic. From there you get the product you see today. shockini
